What is Reiki?

Reiki is a spiritual practice of energy healing, where the practitioner channels Universal life force energy to heal and promote wellbeing within the recipient.

Energy healing has been around for thousands of years, with its practice targeting the energy fields that surround the body.

Reiki is not confined to any religion, belief or faith, which means its healing effects can be benefited from everyone - whether they believe in reiki or not.

Reiki can assist the body in its natural healing processes, can induce relaxation, relieve emotional stress and support spiritual and physical wellbeing.

I infuse each product with this beautiful, healing energy to raise the energy vibration of the product, which is absorbed by the skin when used. These potent, high vibrations are included to infuse you with healing, wellness and love on your skincare journey. This allows the products to work on a physical level for your skin and at a vibrational level for your spirit and energy field.

Temple De Luna's Reiki Infused Skincare...

So, my products are reiki infused... but how does that even work? Now you've had a brief introduction to what reiki is, I'll share how it works on the Temple de Luna range...

Infusing my products with reiki works the same way it would if a practicioner did reiki on a client. I am working on the energy of the ingredients, packaging and overall product. Cleansing and clearing, and setting new, wonderful intentions and vibrations into each jar or bottle.

Infusing each and every batch of the range with reiki is a beautiful and unique part of my process and it's something I've done since before I'd even had the idea for Temple de Luna! During this process, I am setting potent, healing intentions for your overall wellbeing and relaxation. I also set intentions for self-love, confidence and relaxation. Channelling reiki into each batch lets me raise the vibration of each product and infuse them with these beautiful intentions. Each time my products are used, these beautiful healing vibrations are absorbed by the skin and into your body. My products have been designed to work at a physical level for your skin, with incredible ingredients and beautiful formulas, and at an energetic level to soothe your soul and promoting love, relaxation & wellbeing.

So why am I shouting louder about this now? Truth be told, I was afraid that this part of Temple de Luna may be too "woo woo" for people. I get it's not necessarily everyone's cup of tea, but the beauty of reiki is that you don't have to believe in it to receive the benefits of it. If you've followed Temple de Luna for a while, you may have seen the odd post here and there with information about it, but it was never something I actively shouted about. I realised recently that this has been holding me back slightly, I felt as though I was keeping an authentic, beautiful part of the business in the shadows for fear of how it may come across to others. This realisation prompted me to do some inner work around it, some work around my blocks and fears and through that I was lead to this new chapter of Temple de Luna.

Turning the focus of Temple de Luna to the reiki element of the products means that going forward I'll be sharing lots more on reiki, why it belongs in skincare, as well as a bigger focus on wellbeing, relaxation and nourishing our whole selves.
